A wonderful morning in Petach Tikva

What a lovely morning I had today at the Craft Fair held before Emunah's National Volunteers' Day luncheon in Petach Tikva.

I still have quite a bit of my winter items in stock - which were a bit of a hard sell with the temperature of 30*C today (about 86*F). But, the wonderful ladies I met enjoyed the colors and textures and understood that it will get cold again.....eventually. (It helps that I also have purses, bags, Tzitzit, and Tallitot that are good to use year-round.)

I had never sold at a Craft Fair before and really wasn't sure of what to expect. I was delighted to meet so many kind ladies who seemed very interested in learning a bit about my weaving. Several of the ladies mentioned the distance I traveled and were surprised that I had come from so far away. I am very glad I was there....it was definitely a worth-while trip to be in the atmosphere with these women who volunteer so much of their time to help others.

Thank you, ladies, for the oportunity to be there with you today. :-)
