For all the Scrabble-lovers out there - I have designed a pattern to resemble everyone's favorite Crossword-game board!
Using the colors from the traditional board I remember playing on years ago - tan with pink and light blue - the fabric has rectangles outlined in white...you can almost lay the items down and start playing!
I started off with Game Bags - just the right size for holding the tile pieces and a cording-pull-tight closure. I have also made a Pocket Purse from the fabric which is perfect either as a purse for every day or as a tile-holding bag with a more-secure zipper-closure and a handy carry-strap.
I think this pattern would also look great as a scarf - or maybe a shawl for a very dedicated player!
