SHOP POLICIES
Chana's Loom offers unique, hand-crafted items. Many items on the site are already made and you will get the exact item you see pictured. Custom orders are created through a collaborative process between Chana and you.
1:QUALITY
I work with the highest quality yarns I can find here in the Galil. I work with cotton, wool, acylic, polyester, blends, etc - whatever is best suited to a particular project.
All fabrics (except for bag lining), straps and cording are 100% hand-made by me. Due to being hand-crafted, slight imperfections will occur from time to time - that is all part of the charm of a hand-made item as compared to something machine-made.
Every effort has been made for all pictures on this website to reflect the true colors, patterns, textures, etc of the items. Due to differences in computer monitors, items may appear grainy or to have strange patterns. If you are uncertain of an item's true look - please either view it on another screen or ask me to send you a different picture.
2:ORDERS
Items listed for sale are already made and ready to ship. Items are sold 'as is' unless specific options are given on the information page.
Custom orders can be placed for any product on the website. Contact me with the product, colors, size, etc you would like and I will work with you to create a personalized one of a kind item. If you are interested in a custom order for an item you don't see on the website, please ask me about it - you might help add something new to the products offered! A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for work to begin on a custom order with the balance due before item will be shipped. Custom items are not returnable.

3:SHIPPING
Most of my business is in Israel, Canada, and the United States. I don't have shipping costs prepared for other countries but I will find out for you as needed.
Items that are already made and in stock and will ship within a few days. Custom items are carefully crafted for you. The time this takes will vary by my current backlog and size of the item. Typically, once weaving begins, I can finish an item in about 2-4 weeks depending on the item.
Shipping is by weight using IsraelPost.
Shipping/Handling fees DO NOT include any import taxes and fees added by the country the item is sent to. The customer is responsible for any/all import taxes and fees.
4:PURCHASING
I am set up with PayPal to accept PayPal transfers, and any credit cards or bank debits that PayPal offers.
This will work via the online store. If there are unique circumstances such as a special order, or unusual shipping needs, please contact me directly and we can work out a direct PayPal transfer outside of the online store.
I cannot accept personal checks or direct wires.
5:RETURNS
Returns will be accepted with a refund of the actual product cost, minus a 10% restocking fee. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed, and the cost of shipping the item back is the responsibility of the customer.
Special orders cannot be returned. It would be very difficult to resell such items.
